TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver Review

Taylormade has been a leader in the club making industry for years and they have always specialized in drivers. TaylorMade has released so many drivers over the years and they always seem to have one that is super expensive and one that is much less expensive than you might expect.

The Taylormade Burner Superfast 2.0 is one of their new creations with a slightly larger club face and it is a bit lighter as well. TaylorMade Burner short-irons have a traditional face-height and profile, while the middle-irons are of medium-profile, about halfway between the traditional profile of the short-irons and low-profile of the long-irons.

The Burner SuperFast 2.0 holds the title of having the largest face of any TaylorMade driver ever made. Like the TaylorMade R11 driver  you'll notice that the Burner SuperFast 2.0 has the same white matte no glare finish, which is absolutely gorgeous. The head shape is a little larger than the R11, but is still very pleasing to the eye at address. It will give you a ton of confidence.

The exceptionally deep face spans a whopping 4,550 mm2. The entire clubhead employs Ultra-Thin Wall construction which, along with a triangular head shape which allows for improvements in weight distribution and results in a more forgiving clubhead. Such a large face gives a lot more room for "less than square" contact, especially in light of the overall longer club length.

The Burner SuperFast 2.0 also has a new head shape, which helps to leverage the benefits of TaylorMade's proven Dual Crown Technology. The benefit of this is a lower center of gravity (CG), which in turn leads to a higher launch angle, lower spin, and overall distance-promoting launch conditions.

The sweet spot is further expanded thanks to the presence of TaylorMade's Inverted Cone Technology, which is milled in the back of the club face. Also present is precise weighting that promotes a bit of draw bias, though the face angle measures up to square/neutral.

The TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver  offers exceptional distance with extremely light weight. The aggressive head shape features drag-reducing geometry on the sole with a tapered back end for faster overall swing speeds which translates to more distance off the tee.
