As a golfer, you must know playing golf could be very challenging if the golf club length is not given the first priority. Yes, it is important to choose the right golf shaft length! That's why?

If the golf shaft length is too short, it may because you top spin the ball which will make you miss the targeted point. Either, when the golf shaft length is too long, it could easily lead to faster and early grounding of the club.

This is why golfers need to take serious precautions before establishing the size or length of their club. So, you must know how to measure the golf shaft length.

In this article, I would like to tell you some tips to measure your golf shaft length. If you are looking for good from uk golf direct, I would like to recommend the good R11 Driver to you!

Before measuring the required length of a club, you need to know that it should not be too short or too long for this will limit your from rotating efficiently and making a proper weight transfer during the golf swing. Nevertheless, factors such as gender, height, wrist distance, age and your swinging rate are also important consideration.

Here are some tips to you:

First, measure the golf club shaft with a 48-inch or loner ruler or measuring stick. Start at the butt of the golf club grip. If you do not have a 48-inch ruler, you can improvise one by taping a 12-inch ruler to a yard stick. Be sure both pieces form a straight line.

Second, measure the length of the shaft to the heel or bottom of the golf club. The measurement should be made on the back side of the club. The heel is the point at which the shaft bends into the head of the golf club. Be sure the measuring stick is flush against the shaft of the club. A good way to do this is to let the shaft rest against the measuring stick once you place the measuring stick in position.

Third, subtract an eighth of an inch from your measurement of the golf club shaft length to allow for the thickness of the golf grip.
